Vgc corporation of america i won a free vacation in a radio station contest, amor 93.1, i never took the vacation and all dreams vacation stole from account $379.98

Dear consumer complaints Department:

On March 23 I was listening the radio station AMOR 93.1, they asked on the air a trivia question and I answered it over the phone and I won the price; a free vacation to PUNTA CANA, D.R. They told me that some one was going to call me to get my info.in about one hour later ELIZABETH OCHOA, from ALL DREAMS VACATION called me, she congratulated me for my free vacation and proceed asking me for my personal info in order for me to claim the price. When she asked me for my credit card # I asked her: "Why do you need my credit # if the vacation is free?" and she told me that the vacation was free but it was a package that also included four (4) days and three (3) nights in a 5 stars hotel in Daytona Beach for four (4) people with everything inclusive, and another four (4) days and three (3) nights in a 5 stars hotel, with everything inclusive also, in Orlando by Theme Parks at Universal Studio. She added that the $79.99 was to pay for the insurance of the package to make it valid for two (2) years and she added that I could use the package any time during those two (2) years.

Ms. OCHOA was very persuasive, I gave her my credit card # and then she said that her supervisor needed to confirm the package and the phone call got disconnected. A few minutes later, Ms. Russel conde, mis. Ochoa's supervisor from ALL DREAMS VACATIONS, called me and confirmed my free vacation package, she congratulated me and told me that the total charged was $379.98 I got really very up-set and told her that I was not longer interested in the "free vacation package" and she said that the package was not cancel able and added that the package real price was over $2,500.00 and that I could sale it to another person because the package was transferable but not cancel able.

MS. RUSSEL CONDE pretended to be doing me a favor by extending the time of the package for one (1) more year, (three (3) years instead of two (2), so I could have more time to sell the it to another person. After that I called many time ALL DREAMS VACATION, I begged them please to cancel the transaction and all the time they told me the same; the package was not cancel able.

I called MACY'S AMERICAN EXPRESS FRAUD DEPT, I explain the situation to them and I followed their procedures in order to file a claim against ALL DREAMS VACATIONS. All the time, MACY'S AMERICAN EXPRESS FRAUD DEPT make me believe that they were going to helping to get the money back. First they told me to wait from sixty (60) to ninety (90) days. When the ninety (90) days passed they started telling me, for more than three (3) months, that the money was going to be credited in my account in the next thirty (30) days.

By the end of December I called again MACY'S AMERICAN EXPRESS FRAUD DEPT and they told me that I had to deal directly with ALL DREAMS VACATIONS if I wanted to get the money back. All the time they were just playing mind games with me... And that is not fair...

I still do not understand how come there are people out there with the ("legal") right to steal money from others just like that?
