Rolf Schneider
Scam - a fraudulent business scheme

Traveling & Tourism

We received a card in mail guaranteeing a free 7 night cruise plus $ 100 dining certificate for coming and listening to their sales pitch on joining a travel club.

We went to CRI-Global Sales Presentation: (Note: We have since then contacted CRI which claims that CRI is a registered trade name and they have no knowledge of CRI operating in West Palm Beach) at 2000 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. West Palm Beach Suite 900 and listened for several hours to the sales pitch which was very pushy.

We were subjected to 4 different thumb turners, we told each one of them we weren't interested. With each new sales representative the initial membership fee of $ 7,995 plus an annual $ 300 fee and a $ 400 registration fee, the membership dollar requirement went down like this;
Initial Membership Fee offered: $ 7,995 $400 Reg. Fee $ 300 Annual-Fee
* Second Offer: $ 5,495 $400 Reg. Fee $ 300 Annual-Fee
* Third Offer: $ 4,495 $400 Reg. Fee $ 300 Annual-Fee
* Last Offer: $ 2,495 $400 Reg. Fee $ 300 Annual-Fee
They finally gave up on us (after not 90 Minutes as advertised, but 3 hours, because the buildings office hours closed).
We did not get the guaranteed travel voucher nor the dining certificate, what we got was a Presentation Completion Form which we were required to mail by certified mail in to a Redemption Center at 931 Village Blvd. Ste. 905, PMB142 in West Palm Beach, Fl. 33409. Tel: 877-491-5141.

We mailed this form in and got a certified report that it was picked up the very next day.

Since then, more then 30 days have passed and we got no response. We tried to get in touch via telephone, but without success. First we got this message:
Due to telephone company problems call back at a later.
After several days later the telephone line does not answer at all.
By defintion: this is a scam!!!
