This ordeal started in March. We have two timeshares in Nevada. A representative called stating he had a guaranteed buyer who was going to pay $23,000 for one of my timeshare properties. He said a charge of $999 was being charged for processing. I told him I would not be paying for a listing and why the fee could not be paid at close of sale. He said this type of sale is diferent and requires this fee to be paid. We went ahead and paid, unfortunately. These people mislead potential clients into believing there is a pending buyer if they pay.in hind sight, show me the contract of the potential buyer and when the sale closes, we all get paid. No upfront costs!
