My boyfriend and I almost always use Orbitz when we travel. We booked a roundtrip flight from LA to Panama. When we arrived for our return flight we were told our reservation didn't exist. When we provided the reservation number we were told, after an hour and a half of confusion, it had been cancelled. The airline rebooked us on the flight, then charged us an additional 80 dollars. We had no choice, or time to argue. Obviously being charged almost 100 extra dollars, we feel like we were scammed. The lost reservation also meant no vegetarian meal requests received, which meant going an entire day having had only iceberg lettuce, a roll and a 2 oreos. I don't know if we will use Orbitz in the future, considering we were duped out of 80 dollars. It was probably the worst travel experience I have had.
