Charge - customer service

My wife and I flew to Orlando and were charged 240,000miles Panama Orlando had only one other couple and coming back the seats were half empty until they brought down 3 other from the cabin. Stil had 3 or 4 seats vacant. I believe double charging is unfair.
When I lodged my complaint with Copa they said Continental was the culprit. I don;'t like this. I plan another trip in 5 day. I will bring 4 more people with me.
