Airport Hotel Guide
Airporthotelguide.com Cancellation fee = full price of hotel stay plus fees. No changes allowed

Traveling & Tourism

Airporthotelguide.com finds hotels near airports and books a room for you. Don't do it. If you book a room this way, the fine print says you can't change it. At all. The 'cancellation fee' as they call it includes everything you paid to book the room... Hotel charges, the service fee for booking the room, everything. You forfeit your money.

If you book a room through a hotel directly you can usually get your money back if you cancel within 24 hours of your stay. Not this service. I tried to cancel my plans a week in advance to no avail. I didn't stay in the room, but still paid for it. For all I know they rebooked it and earned double on it that night. I fought it through American Express and disputed the charges, also to no avail. It was all in the fine print. The moral of the story is do not use this or any third party service to book hotel rooms. They charge an additional 10 percent anyway just for the service, and once they take your money, its gone. They've covered their bases legally. Just because a company has their bases covered legally doesn't make their tactics right. I'll never use a third party service again. I'm just trying to warn others. As far as I'm concerned these people are criminals and ought to be shut down.
