Paid $550 to get a trip arranged with studentuniverse.com. As a result of medical crisis I'd to stop or transfer the trip to some other day. Named student world plus they required $280 simply to alter the day of the trip. I expected them "imagine if the brand new trip really costs significantly less than the brand new one? Do I obtain a compensation for that distinction?" Their reaction "Number. We'd contact THAT THE EVEN TRADE". Therefore Easily were to guide a brand new trip within the winter (when its more affordable) for state $400 I'll have essentially compensated Scholar Universe $830 for that trip (incorporated the rebooking charge). Therefore bottom-line is if you like to alter your flight you they cause you to spend the buying price of the initial flight plus $280 and certainly will not return you the distinction when the flight is more affordable

Today if you like to stop it is $360 for my $550 trip. That is clearly a 65% fee. Uncommon.

Main point here, Studentuniverse.com is just a BOOKING COMPANY. It's nothing related to the airline you ordered your trip. You're in the mercy of the dishonest studentuniverse people as well as their unintelligible call-center providers (their call-center is in Asia, do not get me started).
