Rip-off! 6 tips to help you get your refund

Thank Goodness for this site! Let me explain briefly how I got suckered into buying this Grand Prize Package which turned out to be a total crock:

I got a call by an agent the other day where she very enthusiastically announced that I had just won a free trip to the bahamas for a 9 day cruise! At that point I remembered entering a drawing for this trip so I was extrememly excited! I even agreed to the $698 professional package fee, (which by the way is a total lie and I totally got suckered into believing.) After getting off the phone with SHEENA, I went on the internet and was shocked at all the complaints about this so called Grand Prize Package! BS!!!

Anyways, I called the next day to confirm that I didn't want the package and demanded my refund. I figured that since I haven't received the package in the mail and I called within the next day, they would grant my refund. Luckly they did! Thanks to this site because it was an eye opener and I am so grateful for all you you that took the time to write the complaints. THANK YOU.

For those who believed they have been scammed, here are some tips on how to get the refund back.

1. Stay on the line!!! They say the wait is 5-7 minutes long. Yes it may take longer but do not allow them to play u like a fool. Make sure u talk to a representative.

2. Act as quickly as possible. DO not put it off. The longer you wait. The less likely they will refund the amount.

3. Be persistent!!! But also be respectful. Do not allow urself to lose control of the situation. Plus acting in a cool, collected and rational manner will always build your defense!

4. Plan what you are going to say to the representatives before hand. Have ammunition in your back pocket at all times. Some examples: I was never told that the package was non-refundable. I called back within a reasonable time. I don't agree with the terms of the package. Etc. Be creative and be firm.

5. Lastly, do not settle for anything less than a FULL refund. They will try to cut the cost to "accommadate" your financial needs. Not true! Do not settle for less and demand for the full refund.

6. Always remember to be respectful (it's hard, especially when you have been cheated). This is the only way to get what you want out of the situation.
