Traveling & Tourism

Spirit Incentives tells you you have won a prize and that you just have to listen to a sales promotion regarding some of their vacation properties. Once you complete the sales pitch, you are given certificates to register for your prize. This must be done within 60 days. There are a series of things that must be done which are time sensitive in order to make your reservation, including a deposit of $50-$100. You have to choose three dates which makes it very difficult to plan, and once you are offered, if you decline, you lose your deposit. The standard hotel does not look very attractive, but you can upgrade to a nicer hotel for a substantial amount of more money. For example, the standard hotel was going to cost $150 (cost of taxes) for 4 nights at a small no-named villa or upgrade to the Raddison for $450. I decided to get a refund on my deposit and just plan my vacation myself, which I think was the objective of this company.
