I just went through a battle I will never forget. I bought a cruise on the bahama celebration which was said to be comparable to a carnival cruise and stay at island seas resort. This resort was said to be a 4 star when it really is a 2. I was told meals would be included for 4 people but found out it was only for 2 people. I was told there were no blackout dates for my vacations and believed it was for the bonus trips as well. The bonus trips were only for travel sunday thru wednesday.
There were many other problems that I became aware of after purchase. I decided to cancel my vacation and had to speak with at least 11 different representatives over a period of 3 days. When one got tired of speaking to me they would transfer me to another and believe me these people are trained to talk for hours. I purchased my package on Friday April 15th and spoke to someone the following Monday that told me I had the right to cancel but just wait to view the package over the internet.
They gave me a website yournameisonvacation.com. I checked it out and didn't like what I saw so I spoke to a costomer care specialist. Agent after agent told me I couldn't cancel my package. I kept calling in and speaking to different agents. I even said Isn't it my legal right to cancel. They said that I didn't have that option. After speaking to what I thought were managers. I finally got in contact with someone who gave me my refund. Don't let these people take advantage of you. They'll say anything to keep your money. You do have rights. Don't give in if you want a refund.
