I bought a round trip tickets from NYC to St. Lucia dated Feb. 2-12 at Jamins Tours and Travel on Jan. 20,04. I have spoken with staffs at the agency many times to find an answer to the problem. But so far, I have not heard one apology nor any offer for a solution no matter how small. What I want is a full refund for my tickets and service which I have paid but did not receive.

I will give a brief description of the turn of events which led a could of been great vacation to a bad memory. Before my friend and I made the reservation we ask whether either of us required a visa to enter St. Lucia. We explained that I will be traveling with a Chinese passport and I have a Permanent Residence Card from the United States. The reply from the sales representative was no, I do not require a visa for my trip. Thus, we purchased the tickets and began our trip at 5 am on Feb. 2. We were very excited and looked forward to our holiday. Unfortunately, our joy was killed when we landed for a connection at Barbados. I was refused boarding the plane from Barbados to St. Lucia on the basis that I required a visa.

I have spoken with many people, from the Travel Agency and the airline. What I received so far is fingers pointing the fault to the other.

The part of the problem is also brought about by people whom are hired and paid to perform a service but unsure of their duties. Therefore, when mistakes such as the one I have incountered the consumer is completely left unprotected and have to carry all the consequences.

I flew out from JFK International Airport. The ticket personnel at the check-in counter only checked me half way through my trip. So at Barbados, where I land to make the connection I had to check-in again. And there I was detained by personnel of the air carrier BWIA West Indies Airway. They appointed me to the staffs at the airport immigration. But when I try to ask for help, once again fingers were pointed. Immigration say is not their decision whether I can continue on or not, it's between my air carrier and St. Lucia. Of course, BWIA said immmigration is the one to make the decision. So pretty much I was just a baggage thrown back and forth.

I have been wrongfully treated and mistreated. I need someone to help me.
