Failure to Reimburse

AAA would not reimburse me for towing my vehicle from my home to a repair facility. There was some ice and snow on the road, but I live in a mountain ski resort area, 15 miles from town off of an unimproved road where snow and ice are expected.in New Mexico, AAA does not contract with towing companies that have four wheel drive tow trucks. They charge extra for “Special Equipment.” In a mountainous snow resort area, I cannot see how having a four wheel drive tow truck could be “Special Equipment.” I have paid over $100 a month for many years for Plus service because I live so far from town. I have received NOTHING for all those funds. I have written AAA and called the Santa Fe branch manager. I never received a response until I wrote a second letter to the Albuquerque office. I only received an oral turn down. If you do not live immediately off of a paved road in an area with snow, do NOT join the AAA roadside assistance.
