We took a connecting flight from Newark NJ to Atlanta GA on February and with time to spare. We flew into Atlanta GA to pick up our flight with Delta Airlines and once we got there all flights were grounded because of snow. The 2 inches of snow arrived at 2 in the afternoon. Our flight arrived in Atlanta GA at 8 in the morning. Delta did nothing for us, didn't put us on another plane, didn't have answers, didn't put us up in a hotel, nothing. Long story short, we rented a car to drive to Miami Florida to make a weak attempt to catch our ship (Royal Caribbean). We didn't make it. We drove from Atlanta GA to Miami Florida in a rental in record time however we missed the ship. Royal Caribbean had received hundreds of calls from passengers like us that got screwed by Delta Airlines. We booked another cruise with Royal over the phone anyway and dealt with both companies when we returned home.
