False Advertising

I booked a flight for 9 seats through an agent from CheapTickets.com on the phone 3/10 with their advertised price of 339.30. I received an e-mail confirmation and a confirmation number.in that e-mail confirmation it specifically said, and I am coping and pasteing the exact line. "Your flight is confirmed. The airline will assign seats at check-in or you may choose seats." On the next morning, I logged into my account with them and clicked on "My Trips" only to get a response that I had none. I called and was told that the reservation was cancelled. I went through chain of command all the way to manager. They ended up telling me that I would have to write a letter to their customer relations department for any further communication. The bottom line was that they falsely advertised the price and they could not honor it. The language in the e-mail of the flight confirmation should have been enough for them to honor the price they advertised. Please be aware of these practices.
