This person posts vacation rentals and sublet rentals on Craigslist. I have seen them in San Diego, New York and San Francisco mostly.

While the rates seem somewhat reasonable (but on the cheap side), this is a scam. They don't ask for a deposit straight up, but they do ask to put down at least part of the rent to "secure" the rental. Also, they will provide an address of the rental if you want it, but it will not match the google map street view. (Well, it didn't match for the one I was looking into in SD.)

Please avoid this person on Craigslist and flag their postings so other victums do not fall prey. Thanks.
