US Airways
Welcome on board, hopefully you have a good health insurance because you might get injured

Traveling & Tourism

I was flying from Charlotte, NC to Phoenix, AZ (flight # 705) and had an aisle seat. I fell asleep and suddenly I woke up because something that felt like a sledge hammer had hit my left knee. A bleach blond flight attendant looked at me, commented "Sorreeeeee" and continued to push her cart through the aisle. Later she explained that these kind of accidents can not be avoided, - my conclusion is that a US Airways passenger agrees to get injured by their employees, it seems to be part of their way to do business. Strange that this has never happened to me with any other airline in over 30 years. After this incident I saw two FAs pushing the cart, one from behind and one from the front, obviously because they did not want to hurt more passengers.

My knee is green and blue now, I have tried to contact US Airways but not received any response. Their reservations agent told me to send an email in regards to my swollen knee to their Customer Care department. I am pretty sure that in about 1 or 2 weeks I will receive an email from them saying "Sorry for the inconvenience, here is a 10% off coupon for your next flight with us if you pay full fare - we are looking forward to welcome you on board again..."
