Believe The Bad Reviews!

Wish I had done my homework! We were told by their rep that our hotel was top of the line-UNTRUE! We prepaid for the hotel $494.82 -while checking in the charge # Expedia gave to the hotel (talk about embarrassing) was denied (hotel staff had to recall) We were charged by hotel $373.68. Called Expedia for refund, rep stated when I booked the price was different but when we stayed there -there was a price change & the hotel doesn't give refunds but as a one time option they would give us a $50 coupon on another booking. I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor. I was cut off-put on hold etc. I told their supervisor that their rep misrepresented the hotel & lied about the charges-that infact the hotel only charged the $373.68 to Expedia & they owed me a refund. She offered the coupon again & stated that we had received a receipt showing what Expedia paid for the rooms & how did I expect them to make a profit! I could have done better on my own! I'll do my own booking from now on! This company is not honorable-stay away!
