Fury recently upon its major expansion decided to put large barges in an environmental reserve so it can drag hundreds of passengers here a day. Although the florida wildlife commission knows these barges are illegal and dammaging the wildlife reserve they turn their heads scared of the owner scott saunders. If you google - fury key west - you will see plenty write ups about them and verbal confirmation from the florida wildlife commission saying its illegal.
Any company or concierge service that books fury water adventures is doing so for the money not the environment. These barges are dammaging to out environment and the wildlife they surround. So not to key west eco tours and anyone else that books the fury to make a buck and doesnt give a damn about the environment.
