Super Shuttle
Driver couldn't be bothered to look at road, too busy looking at computer monitor Santa Ana California

In October nearby canyons and the forest were ravaged by fire. When our home was no longer in danger, I caught a shuttle to John Wayne Airport to take the 2nd half of a planned vacation (I had to forego 1st half to protect home from fire; my husband left a few days before I did).

When the shuttle driver picked me up in his dirty, smoke-filled van, we were going down a curvey country road and he refused to watch the road but insisted he had to watch his monitor to see where the road ended (he still had 2 miles to the end of the road). I told him he needed to look for other cars, curves in the road and panicked wildlife and he spent the next 30 minutes screaming at me for endangering his life, even while barreling down the freeway at 70 mph while looking back periodically to make sure I heard him clearly.

My husband and I returned together and the return Super Shuttle driver passed us off to another filthy, smelly red shuttle. That driver threatened to either leave us 5 miles from our home or return us to the airport because he didn't like having to drive so far. As we had paid our gratuity when we made the reservations I refused to give the jerk another dime and told him to take it up with the guy who passed him off on us as that guy already got the tip.

I'm not sure what happened to that company as they used to employ clean, respectible drivers and now it seems like they only employ sewer rats - disgusting and disrespectful with filthy vans. No wonder they require the gratuity paid when reservations are made.
