Ripped Off without notice - over 300,000 miles

I had over 300,000 skymiles in my account, that came from when Delta bought Pan Am and told us all that our Pan Am miles would never expire. Never came, without notice to me. When I checked my balance, planning to take a trip my wife and I had been dreaming of for years, I was surprised to see my balance was zero! Checking with Delta, I learned they had changed the expiration rules on those miles and had expired over 300,000 of my miles. Further, they told me they had notified me on thier web site. The also asked if I had moved, clearly getting ready to say I had not updated my address. Sorry, I have lived at the same address for 30 years. Delta then offered to sell the miles back to me for $3,000.

As Manager of Global Infrastructure for a multi-billion dollar company, I assured them neither my team nor I would fly one mile on Delta Airlines.

I hope a class action suit is being considered. THis is pure and simple theft.
