Temecula Creek Inn
Have not credited a promised refund

I paid for a $435.40 wine package at Temecula Creek Inn for a one night stay on 3/28/09 for a birthday celebration. The room was not the same room as indicated on their website. As soon as we arrived, we sat down on the patio to eat our box lunch. As we cleaned up to return to the room we noticed something hanging from the patio light. It was an old soiled diaper. I was very sickened by the site so I wanted to immediately leave to another place but my partner asked to give the hotel a chance to resolve the issue.

We packed up our things and went to the lobby to speak to the manager about the situation. It took over an hour to resolve the issue because they could not find the manager then after she arrived; she went off for over 20 minutes. "To help in making our stay pleasurable and because of the mishap" as the manager put it, "I would like to give you a $100 credit and another room". We agreed since she seemed accommodating. The new room was adequate and we made the best of our stay. I stopped at the lobby on my way home to verify the credit and was given a final estimate of my bill which indicated a credit of $168.00.

A week later I had never received any credit on my account therefore called and spoke to the general manager and asked when to expect it. He said he would check into the issue and return my call. He then called back and said someone would be calling me the next day. I have never received a call back or any credit to my account. I made another attempt without any response to this day. I find it very disturbing after agreeing to stay after the sickening incident that I need to keep calling them to receive my offered/promised credit.
