Ridiculous ticket adjustment charges

I bought tickets from Hotwire on Delta from Indianapolis to Atlanta for $139.00. When the confirmation came up, all the information was correct except the times of departure from Indianapolis was 4:55pm rather than 12:20pm and the return time from Atlanta was 8:30 am rather than 12:21 pm.

My wife and I are in our late 60's and those times would have been difficult to function with.

I immediately called Hotwire and told them of the error and asked that they correct the departure times. I was told that it was my error and they could correct it for $100.00 per ticket. I told them it was a ripoff and I would not participate.

I called Delta to see if I could receive credit towards another trip we would be taking two weeks later. Delta told me that there would be a $150.00 penalty plus a $50.00 Hotwire penalty. I believe absurd was the word I used in response.

I will never, ever use Hotwire. They are disreputable, dispicable. Only one step away from being con artists.
