No Customer Service for the Owners of the Time Shares Just Don't Buy

When we first purchased the time share we where told it can be transfered to any other RCI timeshare in the country. We found out after four years this was not true. Then maintenance fees esclated for something we could not trade for other places we could go. After in 2003 We decided to sell the timeshare after months of nobody wanting it, we decided to pay the fees and quick claim the deed back to them so they could sell it to someone who wants to go there every year for vacation. First this took forty calls over two months and nobody would return our calls. Is that customer service (I really don't think so). Hey they got your money for the timeshare and now got you hooked for over 700.00 a year to pay for one week of stay. When I go there I get a room closer to vail (two or three blocks from Chistie Lodge) for Less. Hum, go figure!!! Well, here we are thinking in 2004 this is over with the quick claim document we filed with Cristie Lodge, (don't bank on it). The waited to file it for 160 days, At that time the maintence fees were due again HUUUUHHHHH!!! So trying to call them, frustrating to say the least. Now, its the principal of the way it was handled. I send letters and stated that the bill was not due. Do you think they got back to me, Huh No. I faxed it for two weeks straight DAILY do you think they got the message Huh No. Then comes the letter from there goons Aspen Collections at first they seem ok and stated the will try to get it straightened out. That didn't happen and I was not surprised. After all they get a commission to collect why bother you customer. Harass people and get paid what a job. We finally this guy in Florida calls me and threatens me and starts cursing me out. Well, after what I have been through the sparks flew. My recommendations is that do not deal with Christie Lodge unless you are in dire need of a tax deduction for your business. Otherwise it is not worth it. They have put a derogatory mark on my credit report but that has not stopped me from getting credit because of the large amount of dealings and assets in my business. However if you cannot afford this hassle and damage that last a longtime just don't deal with them.
