A short story from Norway about astarnow.Us

Today my wife got a call from an extreamly eager and positive female from the US. She was informed that because she filled out a form on the internet some days ago, she had won a fantastic travel to Florida and a cruise to Bahamas.

For some reason the female wanted to talk to me, and she told the same story to me. Im a journalist by occupation and immediately had my thorns out. We hear loads of stories like this in media every week, but Ill be quick to admit, that the offer was extremely tempting and sounded serious.

Of course it was to goog to be true, and my alarmbells went nuts when they asked me to pay 988 dollars up front.

I said that Id never do that and the tone switched really fast...

The moral is, as always: If something sounds like to good to be true, it mostly is. I did not give away any creditcard details, but Ill check tomorrow if they have it anyway. It wouldt surprise me beacuse scam is what they do...

Well, thats just a warning to all of you out the. Dont be tempted to give anything away whitch can hurt your economy.
