I received a call today, July 26, from a gal who identified herself as "Karen Scott" ID #21010. She said she was calling from Florida. She told me my name had been drawn as 2nd place winner and I had won an all inclusive vacation. I asked where I had signed up for this prize and she said she didn't know, it could have been anywhere.

I don't normally fill out for any kind of drawing as know I will be hounded by someone wanting me to buy something, so right away, I was suspicious. Well, this gal went on and on about what I had won and it kept getting better and better - 4 days, 3 nights in Orlando to stay at a five star resort, free pass to either Walt Disney World or a Universal Studios tour, $500 in discount coupons, THEN I got 3 days and 2 nights in Daytona Beach with accomodations at the 5 Star Oceanside Inn. Again, free meals and drinks. Also got 2 tickets on the Sterling Casino cruise with all the free drinks I wanted.

Next I would get a 4 day, 3 night cruise to the Bahamas, again all expenses paid. Total value of my fantastic trip&$2,819.00 and all I have to pay are the taxes - $319.00. That is for 2 adults but I can take up to 4 children under the age of 15 for nothing. All I had to do was give her my credit card information or my checking account information. I have 18 months to take this trip and I can even call if I need a 6 month extension!!! She asked me how that sounded. I said fantastic. Only one problem - I don't give out my credit card or checking account information over the phone, so if she would just mail me the information so I can verify it, I will be happy to pay the $319.00. She, of course, is not able to do that. She must have that information today. I again told her I don't give that information out over the phone. She then got snippy and said "Well, then you can't claim the prize" and hung up on me!
One thing I have learned over the years:
If it sounds to good to be true, it IS!!!
