I attended a presentation for a Vacation Timeshare and was "awarded" a two night and 3 day "free" vacation. I first had to send them a $100.00 refundable deposit, to be refunded upon completion of the trip. From this point on, it becomes extremely apparent that this company is a scam and bent on giving you so much crap that you eventually give up and go away. I next had to send in a money order for $146.00 for "Taxes" I then was sent one (1) W-9 US Tax gift declaration. I then later was sent back the whole thing telling me I had picked dates (3) that conflicted with 7 days before or after a given holiday. I never was told what holiday. This went on and on with each time being told I scheduled on a holiday but they would not tell me WHAT holiday. 4 phone calls to this firm resulted in them hanging up on me. Then they sent me back all the paper work submitted stating that I needed a W-9 for each person traveling all the while they knew that it was for me and my wife because the deposit demanded $50 deposit per person and as stated above, I sent them a $100.00 money order.
I have sent mail (all mail to be USPO Certified) eight (8) times and I'm no closer now than when I started.
