Highly recommend against initating vacation extravaganza

Traveling & Tourism

I had received a "Gift" of a three day/two night vacation. I would highly recommend that you avoid doing business with this company as there is no value to what they offer. There are SO many stipulations on when you can travel, and there are so many hidden fees, that you can easily purchase a similar trip without any of the hassles.

I'm sure the offers differ, but my offer required a money order for $100 to be sent within 45 days of reciept of the "gift".

I received the claim form and THEN I read all the fine print - Which is tricky as some of the rules were on one page of the "gift document" and some were on another page. Deceptive.

To complete the travel "gift" I would have to send another $146 for taxes and fees. PLUS the value of this gift (between $2000 and $3000) would be reported to the IRS, and you have to complete a W-9 form that is reported to the IRS. I've never had to pay so much for a gift, so this is where we bailed out and cut our losses at the $100 deposit (non-refundable if you do not complete travel.)

Travel stipulations: You choose the departing and arriving locations. You choose 3 travel dates and they will tell you which one you will get.

Your dates must be 30 days apart. They must be starting on a Tuesady. They must not be within a week of a holiday. (And this is where you send the additonal $146 and the W2 form.) You would be out $246 plus incurring a tax bill on $2000 for a mid-week trip no where near a holiday. I can book a cheaper trip than that with my eyes closed.
