High Pressure Sales Pitch Lasting Hours at Big Cedar Wilderness Club

We were offered the fantastic opportunity to visit Big Cedar Lodge near Branson, MO for only $59, and this was at the Bass Pro Shop in Columbia, MO. We made the purchase because we had been at the Lodge several years ago when we had friends who were working there and that was before it was sold to Bass Pro Shop of Springfield, MO.

We were disappointed when arriving in Branson at the check-in we were given reservations for a hotel instead of the Lodge. We didn't make any waves, just thought we would get to go there the next day, which we did and was subjected to several hours of high pressure sales pitches and every time we said no they came up with a better offer. To make a long story short we finally agreed to sign on the dotted line, then we called too late to cancel the transaction, which seems to happen to many people when dealing with Bluegreen.

We have made a horrible mistake and it has cost us a small fortune so far and we have never used it at all. We want out of the contract now, but how?

We were told that the family could use it, but they would not even talk to our daughter when she tried to make reservations. We have 8000 points but for what???

Please, if anyone else has had this bad experience please report it to the Attorney General of Missouri as I have done, just maybe he will take action against them as other states have done and has received a settlement from Bluegreen.
