Deceptive, pushy, no integrety Banff

My husband and I attended one of the "information" seminars in Calgary. We were promised a didgital camera and a 2 night stay in the Banff Gate Mountain Lodge and Spa.

The sales representative that we were placed under for the presentation was bizzare, and he seemed drunk. The presentation went as planned and was quite good. Their speaker also was good. Our salesman was more interested in telling us his personal life than informing us of the package. My husband asked many questions to which the salesman replied that he did not have a book and could not answer the questions. We sat there about 2 hours, until all the other couples were done and gone.

Our salesman did not sell us anything (as we were totally confused) and refused to let us fill out the questionaire reguarding himself.

Prior to leaving we had to ask for the camera (which Im sure came from the dollar store). We were given a certificate for the 2 night lodge stay.

We have been trying to use the certificate for a couple of months but when we phone there are no "booking" people there to talk to. We have left messages for them to call us but that has not happened (although the call us repeatedly when trying to book us in for the presentation).

Just out of curiosity I found this site and found all the comments from unhappy people. I feel for all of you fighting to get your money back from this lieing, scam company, but on a brighter note, your demise has saved us and hopefully more people from misfortune. Thank you.
