Mr. Diego Charged me for 6 days after I checked out to a better hotel No service no view! Roo

We had a weeks time share and had to pay for the weeks "all inclusive" meals. Were promisied a room with a view! Yeah, we got the view alright, a brick wall is what we got to look at.

To start the week off from H*, we had to wait in line at the hotel for about an 1 1/2 hours to check in. They told us to go and have some lunch and they would be ready to finish checking us in after we ate. Wrong! Came back and had to wait another hour to finish checking in. Finally got checked in and to the lovely room with a view of a brick wall and it wasn't completely ready. Had to wait on some towels. We asked about the room that was connected with a door to our room was told the hotel was booked up. No one spent the night in the room next door. We know for a fact, because we went in there and got some towels for our room.

Were not happy with the service and started inquiring about other hotels in area and came up with a better deal for our buck and made arrangements to check out the next day. Same problem checking out. The waiting game. Got tired of that routine and just left after one night. Agreed to pay the one day but not the full week. Keep billing us for a balance of $551.91 for rest of week that we didn't stay. Checked in to Sunset Cancun Dec 2.2007.

The problem is we keep disputing the charges with American Express about the charges for the days NOT spent at the Hotel Barcelo' We agreed to pay for the one days meals but not the remaining week that we were not there at their hotel. American Express tells me that I need to contact the Mr. Diego and try work it out among ourselfs. I thought that was one reason we used credit cards nowadays, because they would do our fighting for our rights for us!!!
