Noisy Condo

Be very careful which unit you choose when planning a vacation at Wailea Elua in Maui, Hawaii — we had the unfortunate experience of staying in Wailea Elua Condo 101. Wailea Elua Condo 101 backs up to Wailea Alanui, a 4 lane road with 2 lanes in each direction.

During our stay I heard the very loud roar of trucks, motorcycles and cars at all hours of the day and night. Despite the owner telling us that noise was not a problem, noise was a major problem for us... It ruined our vacation. I was unable to sleep at night due to the road noise.

Other than that condo specific problem, Wailea Elua is a very nice property.in fact, we plan on going back, just not to a Condo unit close to Wailea Alanui.

So, before you book, ask how far the condo is from Wailea Alanui and get a map. I plan on avoiding the 100's, 200's, 300's, 400's's, 2100's & 2200's when we go back.
