The Holiday Inn Hilton Head - The Westin Hilton Head - Ambassador Hospitality, Derek, Gary Simms, Beaufort County Government Illegal Aliens, Beaufort County Ordinance is a Joke

Beaufort County just passed an ordinance and made history. It will revoke the business license of anyone caught employing illegal aliens. I have worked in the area for many years and have personally let these business know what was going on and how they were breaking the law.

Ambassador Hospitality which is the last know business name (the business changes names every two months to avoid lawsuits and US Dept. Of Labor)

The owner's name is Derek, a Eastern European (Polish). He places both Hispanics and Eastern European workers. The Hispanics arrive through the border towns and the Eastern Euros arrive on guest or worker visas and never go back. Derek aids them in getting new documentation and even provides housing for them.in turn, they work for him at various hotels throughout Hilton Head Island.

He pays in cash and takes out no fed, state income taxes nor does he carry insurance. He started paying in cash after he bounced a personal check to a friend of mine who is here illegally. He also does not pay over time. I had a customer one time to tell me that Derek didn't charge over time because he didn't pay it. He pays the workers straight time because he knows they will not tell on him. He also is 30% cheaper than any company because he carries no insurance and pays no taxes.

Both hotels know this and employ Derek as the middle man.in total, The Holiday Inn, Hilton Head and Gary Simms employ up to 50 illegal alient to perform housekeeping duties. The Westin Hilton Head, employs over 100 illegal aliens through the use of Derek (housekeeping) and United Service Companies (Chicago) to do kitchen cleaning. Both hotels are aware of this but turn their head because they have cheap labor. Derek is happy because he is making about 250,000 year.'

Derek has been reported to all SC government agencies and they turn their heads including Beaufort County Council, The Sheriiff and all law enforcement.
