Vacation Request Form returned again & again! Deerfield Beach, Florida

Traveling & Tourism

My husband & I attended a timeshare meeting held by Global Exchange Vacation Club in Orange County California. We were presented with a form for airfare plus hotel for 3 days & 2 nights. A Vacation Extravaganza provided by Worldwide Travel Center. I wish I would of found this site before we proceeded to deal with this poor excuse of a company. We did everyting correctly sending the US postal money order for $100 & mailing it certified back to them.

They then send you a Reservation Request Form. Beware this is where they start playing their GAME! I called the Company to be sure I was correctly filling out this form and had questions regarding the W-9 form. The lady I talked to said she did not know how to fill it out and do the best I can. What? Why can't their personnel answer this simple question? I then asked to speak to a Supervisor but was told she cannot help me so I just hung up!

Someone working there must know how to fill out the forms because I got it returned stating I must check the other box and write in Joint on the W-9. Also they require you to mail your info to them Certified but when they return your request which included my US Postal order for the $146 for the hotel taxes (not the original $100 money order) and copies of our driver's license and credit card they sent it regular mail. What if my info got lost in the mail?

Against my better judgement I resubmitted the form correcting the W-9 like they asked. Again having to mail it certified and I also did Priority mail so they would get this 2nd request in time so I would not have to change my travel dates. This stared to get costly!

Well you can guess my requset was returned again! It stated you must submit a separate W-9 for both individual. If this is true why did they not include this separate W-9 EVER! How can I fill it out when it was never sent to me and why couldn't someone on the telephone advise me!

I decided not to play this Cat & Mouse game with them anymore. I did request my initial $100 deposit and after I told the woman Jessie (at Worldwide Travel) about this website and that her name had been mentioned in a complaint I read she sent me my refund.

My husband & I feel very cheated out of our Vacation which we earned and because of this very poor managed company & employees who are not qualified to do their job correctly it was all a waste of time & money.
