Canunbestfares Vacation Scam via fax machine

Faxes have been coming in thru work for a number of years. This Cancun All Inclusive trip came through so I looked into it. It was supposed to be through cancunbestfares but my bank was charged through Vacations, Inc.

When they wanted me to book, the same person talked to me. When I called to complain, then cancel, I could never get the same person. They hesitated when they said their name as if they were giving a fake name. I was given a womans name who "booked" my vacation, but when I called to complain, I was told a different name booked it. She did not know the person I said I booked with. I was given multiple numbers to call.

They also would not book me into the hotel I was told "they had marked down for me". I was originally told there were 13 hotels, but only 3 were given to me as a choice.

I called numerous times and once I said I was canceling, I was put on hold and they never came back to the phone.

We notified the credit company within 5 days and they are working on it. I did file a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture today.
