Intown Suites
Out in the cold

My name is Charlie. My husband and I checked into our room on December 10 and it's the worst thing that we could have done. On that Tuesday night we came to our room after being at work all day and then to the grocery store, to find that niether of our keys worked. This was about 7:25 P.M. It was very cold outside.
My husband knocked on the door and she yelled, "we're closed". My husband tried to explain to her what happened. She would not listen to us, nor talk to us. I went by the office door after a while to check to see if anyone was in the office and she yelled at me to get away from her door.

Later on, the tenant that resides directly above us came to his room and had the same issue. He tried to call the "emergency line" and he also knocked on the door and we received no service, nor communication. All of us were waiting outside and the next thing we know, she comes speeding around the corner waving her arm out of the window laughing! Very upset we were by this time.

Finally, the "security" guy came a little bit after. He then had a serious attitude at us. Before, we could even get a word in, he cursed at us and told us he did not care and that he worked three jobs and he was tired. He told us that she could not open the door after hours. The only thing my husband asked him was, "why we could'nt put the keys thru the drop box". Security told us that he did'nt want to hear another word out of either of us or he could call Dallas police to handle it. Why he wanted to do that, I don't know b/c none of us were rude to him.

I am in the process of trying to get some solutions through corporate. I will not let this rest b/c this incident was very unprofessional. My husband and I do not recommend that anyone stay at the Intown Suites.
