Marketing Warning Denve

We got the marketing call. We were qualified. The tease was that they would compensate us, for our time, with two flight tickets good for any place in the US for one year. We kept asking what the catch was and they said their was no catch. WARNING: That's the first lie. We attended the presentation. We were actually ready to buy into this travel club but they threw us the old curve ball, "This offer is good for tonight only" [WARNING, WARNING, WARNING]. Alarms went off in my head. Escape with your wallet my brain said.

We declined to join, they walked us out the back door, not allowing other patrons where we came in the front lobby to see us (another WARNING sign). We were given travel applications and coupons on the way out (WARNING: not tickets, not travel vouchers).

Half of the travel coupons were crap stuff, like cheap luggage. The flight ticket applications required a filing within 30 days to yet another company (CERTS) and it required $50 per person to be sent with a certified check and you have to send a copy of a photo ID, per person, and fill out their form. If you do anything wrong, they get $50 per person and you get nothing.

I hope that no one else falls for this BS. I don't know what the trick is if you actually get a ticket, but I bet there's a catch. I'm cutting my losses here. I hope that no one else gets this far.
