This "AWESOME" hotel gave us a poor customer service

This past weekend (Nov 2-4) we went to Memphis for a soccer tournament. Our team choose to stay at this hotel because it came highly recommended by the tournament. When I called to make my reservation, I was asked for my credit card to hold our room. I told the reservationist that I was paying cash when we checked in. She told me that would be fine. She went on to ask what kind of room I wanted and I told her a King bed with sofa sleeper. She asked how many in our room, I told her 4.

When we got to the hotel to check in, they asked for my c.C. We told them we wanted to pay cash. They said it would be an additional $250 deposit on top of the $213 rate for 2 nights and our best bet would be to pay with c.C. We weren't happy with this and was put in a no win situation as other hotels in the area were booked.
We get to our room and it has a king bed only! We call to the desk and they said we hadn't requested a room with a sofa sleeper.

Our reservation showed we did have a party of 4. How can 4 people sleep on a king bed? They brought us a twin rollaway. So one of my children had to sleep with me in the bed while my husband slept on the floor and my other child took the rollaway.

This was not the only request that was made by guests in our group that was not fullfilled. When we complained the customer service attitude was "deal with it" because they knew we could not get a room anywhere else.
On top of it all, I get home and check my c. C and I have a hold on it from this hotel for $250 instead of the $213. Once the hold is released, I have to file a charge dispute with them in order to get reimbersed $37 I was over charged!

I will never stay there again. Nor will I recommend them. They were over priced with horrible customer service.

I hired them did not realize how much or how long it would take. I canceled same day. They took my money abyway. I've contacted them more than once and they still refuse to give my money back
