Ripoff dishonest fradulent billing deceptive company ripoff

On August 2, I purchased a vacation package from Ramada Plaza Resorts. At that time I told them the ONLY way I would purchase the package is if they would charge my American Express card for the entire amount $1396.00 AT THAT TIME. I was assure... Promised... Guareanteed that they had charged my card for the entire amount. Approximately 2 weeks later, I received the package in the mail.

I noticed the reservation confirmation booklet stated I still owed $698.00 for the package. I felt sure this was a mistake that would be corrected when I booked the first trip... Ft. Lauderdale/Bahamas cruise/Orlando excursion. Today, September 6, I called to book the trip and spoke with a Delores in customer service. I explained the situation to her. She stated she could not help me but transferred me to a Henry in customer care. I explained the situation to him. He stated I could charge the additional $698.00 to my credit card today.

I told him that was unacceptable since I was told the entire amount had already been charged and that was the ONLY reason I purchased the package. I, then, told him I wanted to cancel the package and have my credit card refunded for the $698.00 that had been charged on the account since Ramada Plaza Resorts had NOT lived up to it's end of our oral contract.

He stated that could not be done since it had been over 30 days since I purchased the package. This is the SECOND time I have been ripped ooff by this company! You'd think I'd learn. It won't happen again, I can tell you!
