Reading the contract and stating facts are important ripoff

Traveling & Tourism

This person first states that it was explained to them how you can vacation at all the 5 Star Resorts, anywhere around the world. No. Vacation Network, Inc.invites prospective clients to attend a presentation describing what our program is about, and given the choice to either sign a contract and become a member, or leave with their promotional gift they are entitled to for attending. At no time during this presentation, do our salespeople offer any type of "starred resorts". If the clients ask questions about these resorts, it is explained to them what exactly the "star" rating means, but it is not expressed, guaranteed, or offered to them in regards to this program.

This person states they have tried to do 5 vacations with our company. No. Our records show they submitted two reservation request forms, dated 4/6/07 and 6/29/07. The first dated for 4/6/07 was requests for areas in Hawaii. They were offerd 3 different places in Hawaii, two them they declined, the other they did accept, but when the reservationist called to book, it was no longer available. So, they changed their desired area of vacation, 6/29/07, and again where offered 2 places, both of which were declined by this person. Our contract, which this person did sign, states that all reservations are based on a first come, first serve, space availible basis.

Vacation Network, Inc. Offers vacation accomodations, our contract which each potential client agrees to sign and agree to the terms and conditions, states plainly, each reservation request is based on space availability. We do not make guarantees, that would no be fair to the client. We do everything possible to book their accomodations in the areas they request.

It has been Vacation Network, Inc.'s experience that many clients fail to read all of the material given to them at the time of signing, meaning the contract, Vacation Planner Booklet, and all the numbers for them to use to contact us. Then when something does not work our to their liking, they begin to complain, and refuse to acknowledge that this information was supplied to them at all.

Vacation Network, Inc. Is currently in contact with this person, and we are trying to come to a compromise with them in regards to their account with us.
