Ramada Plaza Resorts
Called and we extended our vacation for an additional 18 months so we could take in 2008. Ripoff

We paid half of the total vacation $698. And was told we could extend it an additional 18 months so we could use it for our honeymoom in 2008. They called us in February (our original vacation ended 5/20) to extend and we paid our $87 and extended the time frame to 11/18/08.

Just received a call and said that we had to pay $898 (200 more than the balance) because we did not take our vacation in may.

I explained that we extended our vacation time, but she stated that did not make a difference, we had to pay the balance right now while she was on the phone or we would lose our down payment plus our extended pay of $87. She said it was $200 more because of the may date.

She was rude and would not answer why we paid an extension and now was going to lose the whole thing. We just bought a new vehicle and did not have the $900. To pay.

I guess that we learned the hard way and should not have listened to the salesman that originally sold this to us or to the person that sold us the extended fee.

Is there any way that customers can get a refund or perhaps let the consumers out there know that this is a rip off so they do not get ripped off.

I guess that we did not understand the balance due. We understood that when we extended the time that we extended the balance due.
