Ramada Plaza Resorts
Ripoff company that deceives their customers and they should be embarrassed-I want my money back!

When I first received the voucher from Ramada Plaza Resorts, I thought that I had won a free vacation. So, I called the 1800 number and found out that I had to pay $700. I felt very pressured to say yes and this is what I ended up doing.

I called back the next day and told them I had changed my mind. They said I had to keep my reservation ticket. What kind of company makes you keep a reservation that you haven't even made? They also told me if I didn't want to keep it, I could sell it to a family or friend. I tried doing this but now after reading all these complaints about Ramada's services, I would feel cheap to sell it to someone else.

I never made the reservation, they refunded me $300 to my credit card when I fist called them and the man said he would extend the time to make the reservation for 3 years.

It's been over a year and I called to see if I could get the additional refund since I haven't even made the reservation. The lady on the phone was rude and said that I wasn't treating her like a human being. Well, I was decent to her yet concerned and I told her that she should treat me like a human being.

She then told me that my reservation period expired and that I missed the travel date. Unbelievable. I would have liked something in writing about this. She gave me another number to call b/c she had no record of the extension date.

When I called the other number they told me someone would call me back. The man did and then he said he would call me back again, after looking for a record of my extension. I don't want an extension.

I just want my money back. How can they do this? I am determined to get it back. I know if I wanted to have this type of vacation that I could get a better deal and better accomodations somewhere else.

I am graduate student with too much on my credit card already. I just got married and we don't have this kind of money. My husband only makes $8.00 per hour.

We are going to Turkey next year to see his family and going there will be very expensive. So, it is very obvious why I don't want to go to Florida and why I want all of my money back. I need help!!!
