Deception... FRAUD = Roark Vacation Travel Club Ripoff

After reading some of the REPORTS in this website... We now knew that we're not alone... in short. Our story is pretty much like the rest of those who were victimized by this company. We were convinced to be a member because of the very nice presentation and specially when I inquired about the AIRFARE... We were told NUMEROUS times that the COMPANY is a WHOLESALER so it can offer the LOWEST AIRFARE... I even asked at that time to give me a sample... We were then vacationing in BRANSON, MO from Sacramento, California. I asked the sales representative at that time to find out how much it will cost me had we bought the ticket from the travel club. He left and returned about 10 minutes later with a QUOTE of about $100.00 less per ticket of what we paid for doing it via EXPEDIA...

Since we were told we CAN NOT access the website until we get our PASSWORD which was supposed to come in the REGULAR POSTAL MAIL, we had NO WAY to check it out... After about a week, I received the PASSWORD but NEVER worked...

Of course, I called the Branson Office and they emailed me the password again... I was almost glad that the password worked BUT when I was checking for AIRFARE and comparing it with like EXPEDIA... Bad news... They were more expensive... I finally called the "1 800" number and was inquiring about the airfare... They said they just look for the lowest available fare too. Called the salesman and explained everything... No good result... When I said I will cancel, I was told CANCELLATION PERIOD ran out... Even told me. Do what i have to do and they will do what they have to do too. Now we lost $4563.00... What a company!!! Considering we almost bought a PROPERTY that the company was offering too for investment... Some property that the company was developing too... This company is giving the city of BRANSON which we learned while there that the CRIME RATE is VERY VERY LOW since it is considered the BIBLE CAPITAL... By the way this just happened recently...
