Ripoff disreguard for customers and their property

While we were staying at the Foxwoods resort, we left our vehicle in the care of their valets. After having absolutely no problems making the over 200 mile drive to get there, it remained parked in their lot for two days with no further use from us. When we had it brought out, we found the universal had suffered subsequent damage.

There was no damage to the vehicle on arrival, and we suspected their valets to be the cause, since there were no problems before hand at all, and with this type of damage, it would have surfaced while we were on the road.

Being the weekend, with the repair shop closed, and having no transportation, we were forced to stay at the resort at our own expense and loss of work for three extra days, with little sympathy from Foxwoods management. They even tried at first to tell us that all their rooms were booked! The repairs cost a thousand dollars and Foxwoods would take no responsibility for the damage at all.

This resort will NEVER get our business again. We were regular customers for 10 years, and to be treated with such disrespect is a disgrace. Their establishment caused us much stress, not to mention the monetary damage to the vehicle, and loss of work for two incomes. We filed a complaint but it did no good. Foxwoods turned a deaf ear to us. All we received was a small discount on the room, we had to beg for, and that was it.

Please be advised that if you go there, you and your property will be treated like a second class citizen rather than a first class customer. We also filed a complaint on the repair shop, as they overcharged us, did extra work which we did not authorize, and to add insult to injury, charged us for work that was warranted. That is pending. Vacationing at Foxwoods turned out to be a horrific experience for us this time around. Never again!
