Wyndham - Fairfield Resorts
Deceived vacation getaway ripoff

Traveling & Tourism

I made a resevation with the Fairfield resort Customer Care rep. She told me that it was a special and that I had a certain amount of time to pay the 199.00. I was told when she reserved the package that I will be goiong from 12/23 to 12/27 and in the package I was going to get 2 adult park tickets.

I received a letter stating that it was confirmed and I would be going to the tour on 12/24. A few days later I received another letter but in the text it stated that I was going for 4 days and 3 nights I called the company 1-800-387-0279 to find out what was going on and from 11/24 to 12/4 I never got a return call.

I got another 800-633-2336 number and asked them to cancel it on 11/27 the lady Marie told me she was going to send a e-mail to the company but I found out on 11/30 when I called back that it was never done another rep told me that I had to send in a written cancellation letter and he gave me a cancellation number to put on their letter head I had 15 days to cancel to be reimburse.

I called back on 12/4 but was told that I had until 12/20 to cancel the reservation and I was also told that they did not have me down for 12/23 to 12/27 and she listen to the audio tape and told me that I was told for 5 days and 4 nights. She said she would put in the other day but she called me back on my job in which I never gave her my number but, I did give it to katherine the customer rep when I made the reservation, I was told that she was unable to give me the other day per her supervisor and I had to call back 800-387-0279 to get the other day.

Kathrine finally called me back 12/5 to let me know that she was out sick for 10 days and she cancelled my reservation from my message on her machine. I told her that I wouldn't cancel if what she told me was correct and she said that's the information she gave to the company but she also said she was giving me a free day? What? Never heard of a company given anything for free?

I am at the point now where she said she would reimburse me well it would go electronically but nothing has happen as yet. I called back the number on the wyndham letter head 800-648-0852 and they still have me down for 4 days and three nights I explained the situation and was directed to the customer care phone but the phone message stated that they are unable to receive phone calls at this time. I was planning on taking my three girls for the very first time to Disney to find out they are a really shabby company.

I will never refer them to anyone. I just want my money back so I can hopefully find somewhere else to stay at this short notice.
