Fraudulent, scam artists, new members orientation does not exist. It is simply a ploy to get you in to buy more points

Traveling & Tourism

My husband and I were originally comfortable purchasing 6000 points. We were told that someone would call us to invite us back—at Bluegreen's expense for a new member's orientation to make sure we understood all the ins and outs of getting the most of our points for our vacation. We are workaholics but since becoming parents have made a concerted effort to take more time out for our family. Our initial purchase of 6000 points was a leap of faith on our part and our determination to force us to go on family vacations. It was confusing to us that when we were invited back for a new members' orientation that we were not allowed to stay at Mountainloft in Gatlinburg but had to be put up in a crappy hotel. Well, it was a nightmare that has not ended. No new member's orientation exists.

I perceived a conference room full of new owners and a presentation with a Q & A session. This never happened. We were corraled into a tiny office with a sales rep—David Wennerholm and told we would not be able to go anywhere with the 6000 points and we needed to purchase 20000 points, especially because we had shared we were planning a trip to Korea this summer and had noticed there were places available on Cheju Island in Korea via RCI. The sales rep stated we MUST have 20000 and that all 20000 will be deposited immediately into our account when we upgraded. And that this would ensure we could go to Cheju Island. Well, we can't. They only deposited 10000 points and said the rest would be deposited on our purchase anniversary date which would be too late as we have been trying for 6 months to book 4 nights in 4 different US locations and can't even get that.

I came home from this "new members' orientation" physically sick, unable to sleep and very, very angry. My husband and I told the sales rep at least 6 times, no. Why would we purchase more of something that we haven't even used yet? Our 2 year old son said to me finally, "Mommy, man yelling."—referring to the sales rep's loud booming voice. It was suppose to be 90 minutes of a new member orientation but it ended up being a 4 hour bullying session where we were literally forced to stay in his office against our will. We finally signed just to get the hel out of there and have tried to make the best out of a horrible situation but we can't book anything anywhere for anything. I don't know how David Wennerholm and the other employees can wake up and look themselves in the morning. The sales rep David Wennerholm told us what a great Christian he was—the worst kind obviously—the kind that thinks he can screw people for a living and that he can still get into heaven because he goes to church every Sunday. KKK members also belong to church! Beware!!!

By the way, I have tried to call many, many times and have not yet been able to get through.
