Bellview Biltmore Hotel
Resort? More like a mold infested craphole. Made my 1 Year old son Sick!

Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures on this "resorts" webpage. The place is old, run down, and mismanaged.

Yes, I understand that if you're staying at a 'historic' resort thats over 100 years old, you can't expect the modern convieniences. But at $129 and higher a night you do expect..

Clean Sheets (Our sheets were stained, and had to be replaced)
Clean room (The bathtub had mildew all over it)
Decent running wather (If you can shower in a trickle of water, this place is for you)

Room service within an hour and a half (yes, it took almost 90 minutes to get a $12 hamburger delivered, that was (of course) burned)

The rooms not to smell like Mold. This made both me and my 1 year old son sick, neither of us were able to sleep.

An outdoor pool that has more water than leaves/debris in it.

Why, you're asking, didn't we just leave and find a new hotel? We were in the area for a wedding the next day and couldn't find another hotel until the next morning. Once we did find a new hotel, both my and my son's illness cleared up within a few hours. (Black Mold???)

The hotel refused to provide any compensation for the condition of the room (that the manager proudly told us was newly referbished), nor did they offer to help us find new accomidations.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who has any allergy problems, or to anyone who expects a hotel worth $129 a night.

If you're staying in the Clearwater area, stay on the main strip. There's an excellent Sheraton right on the ocean.

Stay away from this place!
