Ripoff trying to conceal severe damage to luggage

Carnival and its agents committed fraud by taking my suitcase which they had destroyed with gross negligence and reckless disregard, and throwing it into my cabin without any explanation. The metal bars on the back of the 32" suitcase were bent 90 degrees. They were incased in a metal tube. It took an extreme amount of force to do this and rip a whole larger than 8 inches exposing my belongings and the inner lining.

They were not going to take responsibility and this action was meant to conceal their actions. When confronted with this they requested documentation and repeatedly requested the same documentation. Now they want to limit their liability to just $50 after committing fraud and attempting to hide the damage they had done.
