High Pressure Sales Tactics - Travel Membership

Anyone who has searched for Horizon Travel and reads the reports on this site or who has been there knows the MO of this company! They first misrepresent themselves when the Marketing company calls and invites you to a "Travel Survey"...

This company is very good at what they do... HIGH PRESSURE sales tactics! I'm not one to cave in on these types of presentations, but this company is good.

That's all I have to add to everyone else who posted to this site is the ONLY way to get your money back is to do what I thought of the very next day, and what a couple from Frisco did that inspired me to go through with it, and that is to picket outside of their sales office. IT WORKS!

I made up the same sign 'FREE Better Business Bureau reports on Horizon Travel', and showed up on a Saturday. I had the Sales Director giving me my money back within 20 minutes. They can't afford the bad publicity. They only speak in terms of $. They want yours badly, but if the cost of giving yours back is less than what they think the potential is when people don't walk through their front door, they will gladly give yours back. However, if you take the traditional methods, write letters, make calls, explain till your blue in the face, contact your credit card company (all logical steps) you will never get your money back.

Check with the Arlington Police department first, I did. Some key things to note: 1) do not block their driveway 2) do not park in their lot 3) do not stand or walk on their property and 3) only take up 1/2 the width of the sidewalk. I added a few of my own like, 4) I DID NOT speak of my personal situation NOR did I 5) pass any judgement on Horizon Travel to anyone who came up to me and said "so there must be a story behind this you can tell me"... I just said "your welcome to a free report and judge for yourself". This way Horzon Travel couldn't accuse me of any wrong doing.

Just ask yourself. Have you ever seen a person picket with a sign? Yes we all have. It's the American way to show that you have an issue with a particular company. Whether a labor dispute or otherwise, just the mear presence says it all... Doesn't it?
