We rented Jim Berkfalk's home in Angel Fire, NM, which he calls Mountain Casa. We cleaned the house and left everything in good condition. However, we never received a refund of the security deposit as promised. Jim responded to my first e-mail inquiry by stating that his records showed the check was sent but that he would check on it. However, I still never received the check, and Jim is no longer responding to my e-mails. Therefore, I believe any renters should assume that their deposit will be non-refundable.
