Over Thanksgiving 2005 my wife and I traveled from Houston via Philadelphia to Madrid, Spain.US Airways lost our luggage enroute. When our luggage finally arrived several days later, we discovered several items had been stolen out of the luggage. I immediately contacted US Airways at Madrid's airport where I was told to file a claim upon returning to the USA.

The day I arrived in the USA I filed a claim with US Airways for the stolen items.US Airways is denying the claim stating that I waited too long to file the claim. This is absurd. I send the claim via certified mail and have the receipt. I also have extensive coorispondence to the airline with fax receipts and a letter to the president of US Airways.

As of today US Airways still has not reponded back.
